Most time in internet marketing we are taken away by the thought of the global nature of the internet. It is good to think globally but it is also rewarding when we think locally.
Treat your local market like a Niche, which it is. Build a Niche site about your local area and charge advertising or use Adsense. You can even focus on a smaller part of your local market. Find the right keyword, use wordpress or design your website, and drive traffic to the site.
